Programs

Unidos Bridging Community offers a range of programs in Yamhill County, including the Latinx Advocacy Coalition, citizenship classes, OHP enrollment assistance, COVID-19 outreach, agriculture worker wellness, and youth workforce development. Our mission is to enhance communication, collaboration, and advocacy in providing essential services to the community. Please support our cause and learn more about their impactful programs.

Latinx Advocacy Coalition

Coalition of organizations, schools, local government, and businesses to enhance communication, collaboration, and advocacy in providing services.

Citizenship Classes

Free classes to prepare for the U.S.C.I.S test in U.S. government and civics. We host 2-3 bilingual sessions of this 8-week course annually.

OHP Enrollment Assistance

Health care benefits navigation, enrollment, and coverage renewal assistance. Referrals to services and resources that support overall wellness.

COVID-19 Outreach

Education of COVID-19 prevention strategies and distribution of P.P.E. Coordination of mobile community testing and vaccination events.

Agriculture Worker Wellness

Community Outreach Specialists visit worksites and provide wellness education about health prevention, personal safety, resources, and referrals to social services.

Youth Workforce Development

Latinx youth ages 14-24 participate in essential employability skills training and participate in a paid internship with local employers for exposure to livable wage career opportunities.
